The Journal of American Thought Crime is a special kind of publication and therefore requires special rules for its subscribers and contributors. In order to participate, we ask that you understand and agree to the following terms.

Non-Disclosure
You will not discuss the contents of the journal with anyone who is not a subscriber to the journal. (You are free, of course, to talk about the idea of the journal, the existence of the journal, etc., just not the contents. )
Non-Distribution
You will not share the contents of the journal with anyone who is not a subscriber to the journal.
Encryption
The journal will be encrypted using GPG in all stages of transmission.
Non-Storage
You will not store or print unencrypted versions of the journal's content and will delete all journal posts after you have read them.
Our Rights
The journal assumes the excusive publishing rights to your posts for 3 months. We will only publish posts to the mailing list in the encypted format as described.
Your Rights
You retain the copyright of all your original posts and after 3 months from the date of publication are free to publish them in any other format or venue.
Embargo
You will not republish any posts to the journal until 3 months after its publication.
This site is published under a Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivative Works 3.0 License. If you participate, understand that your contributions will be considered to have the same license. However, the content of Journal itself is secret and participants agree to a policy of non-disclosure and non-distribution for the work of others (see Terms). Authors of the Journal retain the copyright of their own material. Our privacy policy is available.
